The Roundup

It does its intended job: Ma beating the shit out of a very bad man. The bad guy is a slightly different type compared to the bad guy from the previous installment, but still was quite frightening. But it does not provide anything more than an avearge comedy action movie, which is pretty much the same as the previous one.

Watching that thick slab of succulent Korean beef hassle and pummel all flavors of punk was very cathartic/arousing.

The first thing I noticed about this movie was that it was much more comedic in tone than the first film. The main antagonist here wasn't given as much screen time and so didn't have as much of an impact, I also thought he was a bit too similar to the guy in the first film. The film leans more into the areas that I had problems with in the first film which basically took away any tension this movie might've had.
