The problem with an interesting hypothetical is if you are fully committed to using it for your intended purpose (which might have been grief, it gets confused), than that intended purpose better be the most interesting route you could've gone. I spent a lot of time wondering why they were doing what they were doing and not what I'd be doing. Then it goes full Inception and I was still wondering how we got to this point when I want to explore the possibilities of this room a little more.

I watched this because I wanted to see how full of shit Aventinus' sexist review is. The gender demographic rating is currently .1 difference. Gender disparity is overwhelmingly skewed to more men rating than women on any platform. If an early rating was thrown off before more people rated, which is about 4-5 men to every woman for The Room, then welcome to my world where I nonstop wade through probable scores averaged by mostly men that won't fully be accurate for me. Boo freaking hoo

It managed to be interesting and a bit boring at the same time, but had a memorable ending. I really did not like the very few jump scares in the first part of the movie though. They make the movie look like it is going to be a horror movie, which is totally untrue.

oda, para, yanilsama, cift, kül, çocuk, odadan disari çıkamayan çocuk, evli çift, gizemli ev, kablo ağı SPOILER adam evin bir odasında dilek diler ve dileği gerçek olur. Para, kıyafet vs. derken çocuk dilerler. Fakat evdeki hiç bir şey dışarıda kullanılmaz. BİRAZ MANTIKLI OLSAYMIŞ GÜZEL FİLMMİŞ

Horror themes aside ....it Adheres to elements of the maternal instinct (intuition to protect a child, going to extreme lengths to bring a life into the world etc)....which explains the inflated score on IMDB and thus bamboozled me into watching it (the female demographic is so predictable and I blame myself for not checking the score distribution). I wouldn't even consider it a potent enough story to be eligible for a black mirror episode let alone worthwhile to stand on it's own.

Not as bad as the rating says in my opinion. Love the concept and even tough it could have been executed better, I don't think it's bad.

The Room has an interesting premise but takes the story in a direction I found disappointing. The film's biggest problem is that it lacks scope, with only 4 significant characters and 2 locations set over a short period that is both defined and yet still seems ambiguous; Probably due to a limited budget. The film feels like a bottle episode that doesn't quite manage to explore its characters well enough or make the mystery it sets up that interesting. It's just frustratingly bland.

The dialogue is atrocious. It does get a bit more interesting towards the end but nothing all that surprising happens.
