The Roast of Tom Brady

Some aspects of this were excellent, some terrible. The jokes from Brady's ex teammates were the best. The jokes from the "professionals" were terrible. Just raunchy for the sake of raunchy. But worst of all - I thought Brady missed the mark. He stood up there bragging about himself and putting others down. I get its a roast, but have some modesty.

Good roast overall. Fun to watch a guy who is known specifically for being thin-skinned get roasted. Glaser's set was outstanding and Kevin did a really good job as the host. What in the world was Affleck doing? Belichick and Craft "reunion" was deliciously awkward. It would have been better if it was not aired live and they could edit it down to 2 hours or even 90 minutes, but there was still a lot to enjoy.

I love a good roast - lawyer guy in Liar Liar. Some good, some bad, some great. My main takeaway... with quality writing assistance, half the NFL are better comedians than Bert Kreisher.
