Not as bad as these usually come, especially in visual terms. A preachy pre-code par excellence.

Way too preachy for its own good.

Shocking movie! It shows young adults smoking and drinking! And there is even hints of sex as the girl got pregnant (but that might have been just the stork's doing)! What is the youth coming to! Seriously you'll find more sin in an average big studio movie. "The Road to Ruin" however feels like one of those old educational film they showed at school to talk about good and bad behavior. Really painful....
