The River's Edge

Milland is delightfully vicious and Quinn surprisingly effective as a sensitive, loving husband in this late work by veteran director Dwan, who started out making one and two reelers in 1911. The film offers abrupt, effective pockets of violence and more than a few ironies.

Run-of-the-mill effort for Quinn and Milland. The adventure is sound but several plot points were left unresolved.

Good crime thriller. Anthony Quinn shined the most for me.
