A major studio B-western from RKO. It's collection of actors makes it interesting. There is screen charmer George O'Brien, up'n'comer Tim Holt and perhaps most interesting is Rita Hayworth as a strong woman. The movie is fairly average for a 1930s western and no real extra added even if it's a major studio production. An standard plot which is commonly used in poverty row westerns. Thankfully it had the personality pull it off and make a basic story become engaging.
