The Removalists

Sure does feel like a stage-play adaptation, with the very few actors and locations, and that seems to make the drama (and humour) of this work so well. Our sympathies and perceptions of these characters constantly shift in this small running time, making them seem far more dynamic and cleverly human than this film's realist contemporaries. It's cynical, as every character succumbs to greed and/or violence in the end, and it's so well scripted and all the performances are fantastic.
