Absolutely a solid B-western from the silent era. Visually Ken Maynard looked like a capable screen cowboy, but it always helps not hearing him trying to act, for that's something he never mastered. Awkward voice and delivery. But in a action flick like this he was effectively used and there was enough going on to keep The Red Raiders (1927) entertaining for the duration.
