A white Amish girl puts on an identity black face, and blacks everywhere lose their collective shit. Brownson is nuanced in her approach, so it's probably unintentional when she exposes the lunacy of the offence fueled identity politics, run by those preconditioned to victimhood, the narcissistic, the traumatized and the mentally ill. Seeing how the financially struggling media and the Internet allow these idiots to run rampant, in this identity free-for-all, know that I identify as Zod. Kneel.

This documentary does a good job of bringing in different perspectives and background to this divisive person. With much more to the story beyond the surface that touches on abuse, dissociation, the question of race and good intentions turning into questionable decisions.

An incredibly fascinating story that is put together quite well as a very watchable documentary. Enough balance is afforded here and has a lot of sympathy for Rachel, exploring a little deeper than perhaps what people may have seen on the surface, how things are affecting her personal life and the fact that she can't let this go. It allows you to ponder which side you might want to side with without choosing a side directly. It's very interesting viewing.

Really well done with balanced perspectives. It does sympathize with Rachel in many ways, but the closing scene in particular kind of puts a stamp on the whole "appropriation" question.
