The Program

With a real lack of college football movies, it is kind of sad to say that this might be the best of them. It is good, in parts, while others often fall into almost parody. Some wooden acting and bizarre character arcs. How am I suppose to feel about Lattimer by the end?

Soap opera college gridiron movie. Truly worth missing.

One of my favorite football movies

Hit or miss "gritty" sports film. Makes some good points but they are just as often overshadowed by stereotypes and melodrama.

Came out during the peak of my high school days, so this one has some particular nostalgia for me. However, this holds up after repeated viewings.

I feel lucky to have actually gotten to see the Chicken scene. Its a pretty good sports movie, but probably not in my top 10 (but close).

Underwhelming and dated.
