This was one forced movie. I could almost hear the producer saying: 'Let's just make it and finish it already! We've got Bruce Willis for only a day, Cusack for a day and good thing our D.P.'s uncle is close friends with Jason Patric'. I wouldn't be surprised if an 18 year old wrote it. Good for a few cheesy laughs.

Why does an appealing, talented actor like John Cusack keep appearing in such awful movies? Yeah, yeah... $$

The Prince is a nice twist on a rote suspense storyline. Jason Patric plays a hit man searching for his daughter, who has gone missing. Patric plays a great silent character. He definitely plays that quiet roll well, but there are parts of the story where I questioned his humanity. Should his character have redemption? Does he deserve it? Bruce Willis plays a stock character for himself. He never really captured my attention with his performance. John Cusack did a great job!

Incoherent backstory, generic action, dumb villain (the same security advisor warning against engaging the protagonist later on proceeds to fight the latter hand-to-hand instead of shooting - what?)

Love me some John Cusack, I can't admit a strong dislike for Brucey, and I didn't immediately recoil in disgust when I saw 50 Cent's name. I can't say I'm disappointed; I really didn't have any hype going in. It's mediocre. Willis' final stand has moments of intensity, and then buckets full of (unintentional) silliness. And I know New Orleans is a big city, but wouldn't you think SOMEBODY would call the cops during one of these massive shootouts? Not bad enough to suck, but nowhere near good.

Taken now known as Prince. Well, you can sort of compare this to the movie Taken except it's a lot more boring and really under-uses their star power. Cusack and Willis are barely in this, when they are they don't seem like they want to be in this movie. I'm guessing they are paying off some alimony or something. The writing is really bad in this and the enemies are so dumb they walk right into bullet fire...

It's not terrible, just a little dull and uninspired. The shoot outs really aren't that exciting at all, and many will say it's a lesser 'Taken' (it is), but it's not without its good parts. Cusack/Willis r underused but r seemingly just phoning it in anyway. It's a nice touch that the main character actually goes and buys bullets.. it shows some attention to detail that quite a few movies lack. But there's no oomph to anything. The final shootout isn't thrilling and the last showdown is stupid.

Holy moley, this is very disappointing. I wonder how they tricked Willis to get involved into this crap fest. It's like watching somebody play a FPS with really bad enemy AI. It gets really boring and tedious after a while. And the end-boss scene is just lame. Steer clear.

It's definitely flawed - Willis' performance is underwhelming, and the story eventually resolves in a cloud of disappointment - but overall I found this to be quite a fun ride with enough to enjoy.
