The Pretender

Paranoia overtakes Albert Dekker when he makes a murderous deal he can't get out of, and the result is a brief but satisfying climax. Basically a slow builder that hooks you from the start until it eventually escalates, much helped by its attempts at atmosphere with the theremin used.
