The movie is quite gripping, Paula Beer does a good job in her debut and the cinematography is great, it looks really good. But in the end the film didn't left me with much. You've got the interesting pre-war scenario, a couple of unpleasant moments and more than enough strange characters to start several rewarding story lines, but with the exception of a few strong scenes, nothing comes around. Quite disappointing that Chris Kraus missed his opportunity there.
