The Plague

Poor execution all around. I get the tie in to "The Grapes of Wrath" they shove down your throat the whole movie, too. However, literary cross-referencing does not a good movie make.

Yet another Barker project draws me in but leaves me cold, I should have learned by now. Wikipedia says there'a an unreleased, more 'literary' cut, can't imagine them making a silk purse of it though.

I have to admit, in the opening scenes where all the children are writhing about, seizing on the floor, I laughed heartily. Perhaps that's the wrong reaction, but it was just stupid. I almost want to make a .gif of it. The movie never got better than that.

Cool concept, bad execution.

i actually really dug this movie, a fairly orignal take on a genre i have a unprecidented love affair with.
