The Pink Panther 2 is mind-numbing monotonousness for people with nothing to do. Why is Steve Martin even still getting roles?

A VAST improvement over the first film, though Martin's Clouseau still produces the weakest moments.

Apart from some jokes the movie was one of the least interesting movies. Expected a lot after seeing Pink Panther (first)

I actually laughed. Once. That earns it one more point than the first film.

I really dont know why they even tried to restart the Pink Panther movie. Steve Martin is not even close to Peter Sellers. Lets leave that aside this movie doesnt make you laugh like the old series. The new Pink Panther movie are just pathetic, not funny. The only question that comes to my mind is a loud shrieking "Why?". You are better of not watching this movie.

Haters gonna hate. All these negative reviews without even valid arguments. You don't watch this movie for it's camera work, you watch it to have a good laugh without being puzzled by the story. Just lay back and enjoy the ride. The acting is firm and I love John Cleese. Every little joke makes me a little bit happier. I just love the flow of the movie. Only thing that bothers me is the english/french dialect, but even that has it's charm.

Do not expect Holmesian brilliance. It is a pure goof-ball comedy meant to entertain right from its conception. And it succeeds in this.

"A work of slapsticky, accent-y gar-bage, The Pink Panther 2 is so brainlessly uninventive that it actually seems determined to sully the legacy of Blake Edwards and Peter Sellers's original series." - Nick Schager

Although not one of the funniest movies I have ever seen, I absolutely love this movie, even more so than the first installment. Steve Martin is fanstatic as Jacques Clouseau and will keep you laughing for the entire duration of the film. Decent plot development allows us to track down the culprate of international criminal The Tornado, right alongside the dream team. Fun movie to watch and will get you speaking in a French accent for days

the only decent things about this film are Jeremy Irons, Andy Garcia and Alfred Molina. I'm not mentioning Jean Reno - it's painful to watch such a good actor having such a pathetic role. but, actually, mostly everything about the pink panther 2 is wrong.

Underutilizing its talented cast, The Pink Panther 2 is little more than a series of lame slapstick gags.

Like all rebooted franchises, The Pink Panther treads old ground, and it's probably best to watch the Sellers and Arkin Clouseaus in case you haven't. Still, the first remake starring Martin quite pleasantly surprised me, considering, and while 2 annoyed me at first, I ended up relaxing and quite enjoying it. You have to admit it's lavishly cast, to put it lightly, and it does have a few real laughs.

People treating this modern series seriously are as brainless as the movies. They are entertaining enough for one, or two, or perhaps three watches in a really half-witted, birdbrained way.

It's sad that recent events have proven Clouseau to be a better detective than Sherlock Holmes.
