A low budget murder mystery set in the theater. Routine stuff, with some likable character actors thrown in to make it more fun than it had any right to be. Frank Jenks is valuable in these sort of throw-away pictures and they had the presence of Alan Mowbray to give a feeling of something greater. Even Dave O'Brien managed to look decent in the lead. This was still just another murder mystery there are hundreds of, if not more.
