Haunting and dreary at the same time. Richard Arlen is just there to bring some name value at the box office. The real leads are Tom Powers & Stanley Ridges, as the evil spirit and the doctor. More psychological horror than one of excitement, but it works quite nicely with the way director John English handles it.
