A okay mainstream western from the 30s. There is not so much action in this then the mental battle of right and wrong as the local gambling house owner Preston Foster gets challenged by the new Reverend in Van Heflin and school teacher Jean Muir to change his ways. Didn't like Muir as the love interest. Didn't have the right flair for it. Thankfully both Foster and Heflin were suited for their parts and put on strong enough portrayals to not let her weakness sink this.
