The Oubliette

MacQuarrie brings energy and character to the role of François Villon. The plot gets a bit hard to follow at times, though it's hard to say how much of that is to blame on the only surviving print being very dark and indistinct. It's a pity, as I'd probably rate it higher if I could just see it better.

I have no idea what the story is about but I enjoyed the scenes I saw and would've like to see the whole story.
