The Old Man of the Mountain

"What you gon' do now?" "Gonna do the best I can." (they're talking about fucking. In case you didn't catch it. It was pretty subtle.) There's a lot of cool shit in this short, but the animation is really really primitive.

Top-of-the-line Boop -- only BETTY BOOP IN SNOW WHITE is better.

Incredibly imaginative cartoon with the incomparable Cab Calloway in the soundtrack adding up to what I consider to be an incredible work of art.

These old pre code cartoons always make me think about how things would've been different if the moral code wasn't added and that cartoons could've evolved naturally. They definitely would've been regulated to kids only fare that's for sure. I always enjoy the Cab Calloway live action openings. strange, weird, surreal, entertaining.

These old Betty Boop cartoons are very unsettling for some reason. Based on sight gags alone, a solid cartoon.
