While I grew-up with Laurel & Hardy, there are few others that get me in the same good mood as Abbott & Costello. I know The Noose Hangs High (1948) isn't among their most acclaimed comedies, but it just lifted my spirits and made me happy. Seeing the two gets chased by a gambling racket and make a fun hullabaloo was just what I needed.

I really like that Julius Caesar 'J.C.' McBride (Leon Errol) is really just a slightly more successful version of Tommy Hinchcliffe (Lou Costello). Interesting fact; Leon Errol is an Aussie.
