Made during Chuck Jones' cute cartoon phase of the mid-thirties to early forties. He wouldn't shed this style until he started working with Mike Maltese, who was more in the vein of a Robert Clampett or Tex Avery when it came to his story writing. It's an average cartoon with the great animation associated with Jones' work from that time.
