The Next Big Thing

So i guess rom-coms about how no one appreciates middle class white guys were a thing in the early 00s? This is basically the exact same movie as Pipe Dream except with Chris Eigeman pretending to be a painter instead of Martin Donovan pretending to be a director (weirdly both films both have the same pseudo-lounge music style soundtracks as well). This would be mildly diverting if it weren't so smug and anti-snobbishly snobby about the art world, like Art School Confidential without the jokes.
