The New Tenants

I enjoyed the caustic relationship between the two men in this, and the cinematography is very good. I think this would have been more successfully if it was a bit darker and more surreal. And the size of the cast and crew on this - do you really need a hundred people to make a short?

Not everything works in this movie, but I actually really enjoyed the ending, and D'Onofrio is always great.

Some mildly interesting elements and one stuping ending apparently equals an oscar.

Meh. Decent, but sloppy editing, weird pacing, bad effects, etc. detract from the film. Certainly not the best short of the year, despite its Oscar.
