The New Kids

Florida Man: The Movie Never before has a movie soundtrack been so at odds with the material.

It's quite amazing that I hadn't seen this earlier as it's a proper 80's Columbia Pictures production; kind of a teen version of Death Wish which goes overboard in the last third. Cunningham's direction is efficient. Spader plays the bad guy to perfection and makes the leads look bland in comparison. That's perhaps the biggest fault here - with along with the routine soundtrack. It's not among the best genre films of the decade, but highly enjoyable and worth adding to your B-list rotation.

If you need a Tom Atkins training montage or a dose of Spader being a sleezeball, then this is for you. Obviously there are a lot of other options for the latter.

Violent high school revenge flick with a cameo from Tom Atkins.

The first hour was pretty boring, and I'm not sure why i kept watching. The last half hour was worth it though, decent film i guess. Some funny lines throughout.
