The New Girlfriend

Film de Ozon, dans ses thématiques les plus simples. Un goût fort et ringard pour l'érotisme et la nudité. Reste Romain Duris qui surnage très bien étonnement, son rôle difficile, aussi bien dans le jeu, que dans la mise en valeur de celui ci, parce que le film est sacrément casse gueule.

Takes a very long time to get going despite the simple set up. And then it just sort of shows you some ideas of where the film might go before ending. And despite that it's still fairly good.

The film could be so much more. It was good timing and great pressure for a viewer. Though first 30 minutes are just unbearable. Next 1,5h makes up for it. But do not be decived by the great atmosphere and looks. Film makes no statment and is showing mostly (sadly) - femininity and clothes, great clothes may I add. However, there is just no drama in this drama. You feel too good bout yourself after this film. PS walk out before the last sequence - it sux too.
