A renowned archaeologist and adventurer is suddenly transported to the past. Here he ends up in a previous life, some 2000 years ago, when he was a warrior in the Qin dynasty. He will have to look here for a valuable treasure.

Good scenes by Jackie Chan. Worthless show by Mallika Sherawat.

Good action, worth the watch for the kung fu stuff. Acting was not lacking. Only the ending was a little predictable.

I actually loved the cheesiness of it, especially the romantic parts. Unfortunately a lot of stuff was played a little too seriously, esp. in the second half. More Jackie Chan physical comedy, please! :D It was kinda cheap, yeah, but I wouldn't call the movie stupid, just very naive, which I totally dug. Also dug that Indian chick. :> And what was up with the score? It seemed to consist to 50% of some synthie version of something out of Pirates of the Caribbean.

Typically Jackie Chan. The fighting scenes are awesome, almost epic sometimes and witty. Too bad that the film itself is far beneath the level of the fighting scenes. Bad acting, strange story sometimes, directing could have been better

Chan plays a double-role, one as a archeologist in our time and one as a Chinese general in the ancient time. Although the movie is not very good acting wise, I like the original story and the mix of famous international (asian) actors. It's a mix of a Chinese Indiana Jones, the Curse of the Golden Flower and King Solomon's mines. Especially the end-scene was very impressing, I wish I saw it on the big-screen instead of TV. In itself not a good movie, but I hope a new movie-genre is born.
