The story of a country girl, Dell Ferris, drawn to the bright lights of the big city where her inheritance is soon frittered away through high society revelling. A country lass inherits a significant sum of money and naturally travels to the city and splurges all of it, only to then return to the comfort of the homestead. Not much of a story, but most of the cast are charming in their performances and the composition of shots, in particular of horses and cattle in action, is highly engaging. Chaucer made this after studying filmmaking in Hollywood and then retuning to Queensland to start his own production company. A promising debut film.
