The Moment After

It keeps threatening to turn into something interesting, but alas, it is not to be. Utterly, relentlessly simple-minded and preachy. Some of these actors here seem to have some ability, but thanks to hare-brained writing and pious directing, it is impossible to tell. Why is it that Jews and Catholics are the only ones that can give drama with religious themes ANY kind of complexity and, therefore, interest? I think I answered my own question in there somewhere...
