The Model

Pretty solid drama with some suspenseful elements about a young Danish girl who moves to Paris to become a professional model. The story goes pretty much how you imagine it will without offerings much surprises, but it's well executed and keeps you engaged for the duration; it looks good (like a film set in this world should) and sounds good. I also appreciated how it doesn't exactly spell out whether Emma is a victim or more calculating than what she seems at first.

Nothing earth-shattering, but quite decent. Good acting, respectable dialogue. Coming out in 2016 sadly makes it look like a poor man's Neon Demon, but I like it much better than the horseshit Denmark sent to the Oscars (Land of Mine).
