Universal Pictures remakes their own Secret of the Blue Room (1933)! The original was a fine murder quickie. For the remake they add a lot more comedy. This is the non-horror period in the world of cinema so they got to loosen up the mood a little to not make the mystery too spooky. And it's good fun. A lot more irrelevant going-ons added, but it made for a few laughs as we stumble our way through the mystery. The original did have a better cast, but this one might have been more entertaining.
