The Mind of Mr. Soames

This is an intriguing watch, in terms of the plot. I can only imagine what it may be like for someone put in Nicholas (Mr. Soames) position. Its a bit daft at times perhaps but its certainly thought provoking. One thing its hard not to comment on is the old fashioned technology on show - of course this flm wasn't made yesterday and it clearly shows. I felt the ending was a bit abrupt and I wouldn't say its more than good.

I was totally surprised with this one. Great sci-fi drama starring a young Terence Stamp (great performance). A man who has been in a coma since birth for 30 years. A doctor (Robert Vaugh) brings him to consciousness with an experimental surgery.

What if there was a man that had the IQ of a baby and he wasn't immediately elected to office? This movie posits that he'd play games, get used as a scientific pawn, and break out Cuckoo's Nest style only to flop about a bar and steal the heart of the loneliest woman ever put on film.
