For the most part a ordinary two-rivals-and-a-girl scenario set out in Alaska where the real "gold rush" is the gambling scene. Acceptable film with Conrad Nagel & Renée Adorée as the prominent faces, but what's remembered from The Michigan Kid (1928) was the exciting last 10 minutes of fire & water getting things hot!
