The Masked Marvel

The Masked Marvel (1943) brings the hard hitting action and Johnny Arthur as a sleazy Japanese spy master orchestrating some ruthless plans on American soil. But we all know a masked hero will make his evil plans difficult for 12-episodes. The formula becomes a little tiring, like just about every serial, but it's good. Exactly the type of straight action needed to make these productions fun when not having too much of those campy ideas to fill the time.
