The Marriage-Go-Round

Almost the entirety of my score is based on the pleasure of watching Newmar (who also more than holds her own acting-wise) & the inherently compelling nature of peering into a time capsule to see what can no longer be seen. The film starts off well enough w/ Newmar making her play for a married man, but as it goes on, the wife's tolerance grows ever more preposterous until it's even incongruous for its time. It works as Middle-aged Male Fantasy, but it's hard to imagine any woman stomaching this
