The Man with One Red Shoe

Looks like someone hired Tony Scott to direct a farce. Carrie Fisher looks good in a bikini though, wonder why no other movies tried that.

Equally fun and stupid most likely I will never watch this again.

First and foremost, this is a farce. It's not a gritty and realistic spy thriller, nor does it attempt to be a gritty spy thriller. If you like goofy farcical comedy (which I do) then this is the film for you. If not, well, there's plenty of good serious spy movies out there. Um, I like the old Jack Ryan movies, why don't you go watch one of them? Also rather telling is that it was based on a French comedy, so if you don't like Jerry Lewis (which I do) this also might not be the film for you.

This film does not know if it is trying to be a comedy or a serious spy film. The unfocused finished product is a mess. The premise is a great idea but the execution is painful. A lot of talented actors are wasted with this bad script.

40 minutes in, not funny

Just cause it's over 25 years old, doesn't make it a classic. Not to be confused with "The Man with One Red Shoe Diaries".

Fine actors, funny idea for the movie, but then something ruins the concept. At the end the movie changes too naive 'even it's a comedy. Some extra points 'cause of the hot blond woman.

Silly 80's comedy has some laughs, just wish there were more of them.

I know how you feel if you laugh when the hit man comes stumbling out of the dentists office.

Silly, just silly FuN

I'm not really sure who thought this was a good idea, but you get to see Carrie Fisher in a bikini longer than you do in Return of the Jedi, so at least it has that going for it.

Its so dumb, but funny. A must see.
