Looks fairly cheap and the there are probable a thousand questionable choices that went into the writing, but I found the whole plot outlandishly wonderful. It had my attention and I appreciated the audacity.

Entertaining early 50s B movie.

About as unlikely a plotline as you're ever likely to encounter (even for one of these things). A good cast does the best they can with this stuff--Barry Nelson (in his dual role) is his usual likeable self, as well as playing a nicely insouciant dirtbag--but inevitably they all end up getting mired in the morass of implausibility. And you find out far too quickly what's really going on, so there's little left to pique your interest. That Doberman should've been sicked on the writers.
