A grim story with a heavy anti-war feel. Claude Rains is a pacifist who writes to expose the warmongers. The money men who work to stir up war to make a profit. Rains isn't a man of importance, barely making a buck, which results in a more ambitious man making the deal to let him secretly write for him. At first Lionel Atwill rides the success of what Rains write. Then greed comes in. This has a straining mood, but at times it's great. Especially Rains, his facial expression was unforgettable!
