The Man Who Copied

The first half has a rare beauty in the simplicity of the story and realism of the interactions between characters. Then the second half introduces several bizarre and inexplicably drastic elements to the story and the film loses much of its effect. The final monologue is a nice touch. Could have been an excellent film with better writing, but instead it is just 'good'.

Good movie, but a better final was lacking.

Furtado does an amazing job with good editing and a bright script: what starts as an urban chronicle slowly turns into a thrilling story.

05 haziran 2011 & sondaki twistlerin inandirici olmamasi tum hikayeyi yikiyor. yonetmen, narrator destekli, hizli kurgulu akici tarzini filmin geneline cok guzel yaymis ve bu konuda basarili. fonda, fakir brezilya insanlarinin, aski bile elde edebilmesi icin paraya ihtiyaci oldugunun ve sistemin carpikligi cok basarili anlatilmis. bunun disinda, guzelim ask filminde sonlara dogru neden iki tane cinayet ve sifir vicdan azabi ile kavusulan ask? film bu noktada kaybediyor.

the movie's main plot is brilliant! but what annoys me a little bit is: why does it have to culminate in romance everytime?

I'm from Brazil and this is the best brazilian movie! Funny in the best way, with the wonderful leandra leal and lázaro ramos!

Great brazilian movie with the great Lázaro Ramos...very good production, very good history, very good performances and very good music!

the first 30 minutes seem to last forever, i was almost giving up. but it gets better and in the end it looks impressive
