The Magician

The lead Seung-ho Yoo was somewhat charismatic as the magician with heterochromia eyes, but he seemed too young for his role. Ara Go was pretty but her performance was mostly stilted. The story along with the magic performances were moderately entertaining. A few beautiful scenes. The subtitles I found were awful. The fighting is uneven & especially bad at the end. I liked some of the supporting cast especially her protector & his blind accomplice. The story left a lot to be desired.

There is something magical about The Magician (2015). Mainly the bloody stage performances themselves. The rest becomes sort of blurry and doesn't take full advantage of the beautiful scenery, resulting in the magic being gone by the end.
