The Loves of Hercules

Ridiculous movie with mind-bogglingly horrible action scenes

This one is mostly boring. Licos is not a terribly compelling villain, and Hercules doesn't undergo a whole lot of challenges in this one that excite the audience (Mickey Hargitay, despite the muscles, doesn't have a whole lot of charisma to lend to the adventures). The Hydra is an impressive effect until the actors try to interact with it, at which point all suspension of disbelief goes away. And what about that ending? Hercules doesn't even get his hands on Licos in the end.

Terrible acting, the dragon looks stupid, awful plot, and Bigfoot shows up at the end. MST3K: 60

The fact that Hercules and his "loves" each behave like serial rapists is actually pretty funny once you realize our creepy bustacular Hero is the real-life father of Mariska Hargitay.

Goofball Hercules bumbles around italy, er Greece, and is a buffoon. Nothing of note happens except facing of an impressively large practical effect hydra. It certainly took some great craftsmanship to make that thing. And only one hack director to make it look embarrassingly bad in action!

"Hercules! The Cyclops tore off my clothes!" Ha Ha Ha Ha .

Wants to be a budget version of a gods'n'monsters epic. Doesn't even manage a budget version of a crap Hercules: The Legendary Journeys episode.

A really buffed Bobby Darin plays the Hercster in this one--and for his main squeeze they somehow managed to find a gal with an even bigger chest than his. Then he has a brief encounter in the land of the Amazons (who have somehow managed to retain both of their tits)...and it all takes place before clothing was actually invented.

Easily forgettable sword-and-sandal nonsense.

Baffling yet boring. It really should be interesting how nonsensical the plot is, how terrible the special effects are, but it's just boring. (It's also really pointlessly sexist - the Amazons only exist to seduce and murder dudes! - but that's *always* boring.)
