The Love Goddesses

Neat documentary with a generous amount of early film footage. Really makes you wish a lot of those films survived instead of having their elements lost to time. Fav scene: not sure which movie it was, but the one with the lecherous kid pulling up the blinds on women changing was memorable.

It's always a pleasure to see beautiful women on screen. That's a great truth. And you get amazed in each scene even though you have seen them many times. But the (minor) problem here was their inclination to explain things with very broad (& cyclical) social terms. I guess, I heard Hays Codes only once. Instead of looking for some broader patterns, one has to see the very obvious effects of such "codes"
