The Long Game

Really solid movie. Well acted by everyone. ****, I hate racism.

While the film is full of warmth and charm and tells an inspiring true story, it lacks a sense of personality and style and suffers from an underwritten script. However, the performances by Jay Hernandez and Dennis Quaid are standout, and the film hits the expected beats of the genre with aplomb. While it may not stand out in the pantheon of sports films, the story it's telling deserves to be heard.
