Warren William taking over The Lone Wolf franchise. The first of 9 movies he appeared as the sleuth, getting in quite a mess over some papers tucked unsafely in a safe. William is always a professional and seemed to enjoy himself naughtily. He had some fine dames to play with, both before their super stardom, Ida Lupino & Rita Hayworth seeming up for this, especially Lupino! Nothing more then a average fun crime story, but one that satisfies the needs of a detective fix.
