The Little Princess

So cute seeing Mary Pickford and Zasu Pitts play children together! Pickford is sent to a little girls school where she is treated well by the headmistress because her daddy has money. This takes a darker turn where then mistress understands she'll not get any money and Pickford gets relegated from pet to slave. And with that and the child like fantasies, we get a fine emotional balance of little but of everything. Might not be among Pickford's finest films, but this is a still a delight!
