The Life of the Party

The comedy is a bit exaggerated, but this Winnie Lightner gold digging farce has a stellar comic cast where both Charles Butterworth & Charles Judels gets to be adorable fools. The pretty girl in this in an rather unknown one called Irene Delroy who got a handful chances at the dawn of sound. This is the first time I've ever seen her and she wasn't half bad. But with all the loudmouths in here she almost got lost in the noise.
