Not so much slapstick Roscoe 'Fatty' Arbuckle, than a little more mature and subtle comic performance from the big guy. I prefer him wilder and more creative than this, but it was interesting seeing him do more of a acting job as this dull character seeking adventure. Definitely some funny moments in The Life of the Party (1920), but it's more paced-out and perhaps not many loud laughs. More a chill humorous affair.
