The Life Before This

David Hewlett, immediately unconvincing as a wild criminal type, shoots some people in a diner with another schmuck. After a slo-mo rewind, we follow everyone on their paths back to the diner, where some of the same folks die and some different folks die, the only takeaway some vague butterfly-effectish notions about the delicate yet propulsive farts of fate, and laughably manipulative mini-stories. Even if you totally bomb your audition, maybe that's...just what they were looking for!!!
