The Legend of the Wolf Woman

I guess the "she thinks she's a werewolf" idea isn't bad, but I just found this film to be really unpleasant. I'm not sure exactly how to put this, but let's say that it had all the tawdry unpleasantness of a rape revenge film with no deeper commitment to anything that might justify putting up with it.

This was surprisingly well crafted. The practical effect, makeup and costumes make it grotesquely horrifying, especially in the transformation and witchcraft scenes - those were repulsive to look at, demonic at that, so I didn't even look that much, to be frank. Good choice of actors and main lead. Well crafted for what it is, but falls short in the usual aspects where B movies fall: it's overly long, takes itself too seriously, has poor acting and a very predictable story.
