The Legend of Rita

An odd throwback, with a visual look more in line with German movies from the 70s than movies from the 21st century; muted color tones, dim lighting, cold and clean, unenthusiastic camera, etc. The melodrama is a bit much at times, and the music is not that great, yet as the film goes on, you become absorbed in Rita's chameleon-like identity and the consequences of not having a real home + not being honest to your past.
